This person which we are going to use as the example for the contest… we don’t understand why this person had such an interest in attacking us.  With us acquiring our trademarks, it doesn’t affect her in any way.  She has no basis for being involved in our business.

We only want the discrepancies that are evident in these postings.

You may click on each picture to enlarge.

The highlighted sections show these discrepancies:

  • Post 1-Bobbie is appalled by the use of a “well-known name to hype one’s own goods,” and that it’s wrong for someone to say “Like Mimzy,”  then she justifies people using “thread bears” in post 2.

  • Post 2-Bobbie says that she is not placing herself in the middle of our business, that she is not in any way hindering our business. However, her words show otherwise in Posts 2 and 3.

  • Post 2-Bobbie tells us that she does not assume the role of speaking for us. However, she tells everyone to contact her off list for any and all information in Post 3.

  1. Wow! This is some bullshit! You should be focusing your time and talent on your cute bears. Not on this ridiculous contest. Really?! Seems to me you're wasting too much time being negative. It's a shame, if you ask me. Please, please, please get over yourself and let it go! And no need to consider me for the prize… Lol

  2. The only thing negative we see is the words of the person in our example. And, of course, your comment. It's obvious that you don't like anyone standing up for what's true–you'd just rather sweep the garbage under the rug… unless it was happening to you. It doesn't look like you are an artist who sells products, only to have people steal your ideas/names. Nothing shows you are selling these types of products, so what does it matter to you? Who are you really?

Well, “Carol,” thank you for your interest in our blog. However, you wouldn't be considered for the prize–as you didn't enter, and the contest hasn't technically started yet. If you would like to enter, you may. As stated above, all answers must be submitted via email, not in the comments. Names can be kept private if you don't want anyone to know you've entered.

  3. Sue, I'm in your corner on this one. I am a songwriter and the music industry suffers greatly because of unethical people who steal from struggling artists. I thank you for bringing this to our attention in such an interesting way.
